The core of The Roomfull, Ray and Billy, have been together for over fifteen years. The longest running line-up came together in May of 1999. Blending a mix of classic blues rock influenced with some heavier influences, The Roomfull has molded a unique sound once dubbed as Soul Rock. They have been said to sound like the Black Crowes with a Mowtown twist. In 2002 the band released their debut CD "...If It's Cool." It scored well with local press and spawned a sold out, standing room only release show. Other shows followed, including a side stage act, opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd. But shortly after, personal issues with in the band forced a long hiatus. Now, in 2007, The Roomfull are putting the finishing touches on their sophmore release. With the departure of drummer Rich Ramsey, the band was forced to make yet another line-up change, adding Nick Haynes to the mix.
